Shashona’s teachings are of the Native Canadian Swampy Cree Nation of Northern Manitoba, Canada. She has lived in Australia for 12 years now and still hasn’t mastered the Aussie accent. Shashona is a traditional healer who carries the sacred medicine bundle and the sacred pipe. She has been gifted to work with Energy and Teachings. She is also a registered paramedic instructor.

In Canada, Shashona owned and operated a tipi village, A Wawa TaË Mee kee Wapa (“The people’s village”) and a canoe/kyak outfitting business, “Grass River Outfitters”, a cultural awareness experience open to all people globally. Through these businesses, Shashona brought in Elders to share their stories and legends and invited other Medicine Men and Women from many other First Nations areas to conduct Ceremony and work with visitors. She also brought in schools to teach the children about Swampy Cree heritage.

Meet Shashona and experience her powerful teachings at our next retreat in October at Kincumber South.
