Terms and Conditions

All bookings and transactions with Sacred Retreats are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. As the person responsible for the booking, it is your responsibility to read all terms and conditions of your booking.

All bookings are comprised of a Friday to Sunday retreat package per person, including accommodation, food and group workshops. Individual workshops will be charged at an extra rate advised at the retreat. You agree to pay for all services provided by Sacred Retreats during your stay.

Sacred Retreats reserves the right to allocate the style of accommodation  depending on the circumstances of each individual retreat. Guests will generally share one room between two people and Sacred Retreats will allocate the space to guests.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the security of your belongings.

One warning will be issued for noise complaints. Any further complaints will result in immediate vacation of the premises with no refund. Sacred Retreats is a relaxation and rejuvenation retreat.

For the comfort and wellness of all guests, please note that Sacred Retreats has a strict No Smoking on the premises policy.

No open flame candles to be lit inside the rooms for safety reasons.

For your own protection and safety, please exercise special care when using the camp fire. Please ensure any fire is extinguished before leaving the site.

Belongings left behind will be returned at the owner's request and expense. Belongings will be returned via C.O.D postage.

Waiver and Release

You assume all of the risks of participating in and attending the Sacred Retreat camp, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of Sacred Retreats or its employees, agents or contractors, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by Sacred Retreats or its employees, agents or contractors, or because of their possible liability without fault.

You certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude your participation in this activity or event.

You acknowledge that these Waiver and Release of Liability provisions will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organisers of Sacred Retreats, and that it will govern your actions and responsibilities at said activity or event.

In consideration of your application and permitting you to participate in this event, you hereby take action for yourself, your executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:

(A) YOU WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for your death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to you including your travelling to and from this event,

(B) YOU INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND WILL NOT SUE the entity and/or persons organising this event and waive them from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity or event, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.

You hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity or event.

You understand that at this event or related activities you may be photographed. You agree to allow your photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organisers, and assigns.

This waiver and release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

Refunds

You may only cancel your booking with a full refund if the cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance of the retreat date. We will be entitled to an administration charge and cancellation fees of $250 if you cancel your booking under this clause.There is no refund for a booking cancellation made within 30 days of the retreat date.

Any refund will be made using your original payment method.

Upon written advise of cancellation of booking by our guest and acceptance of refund in writing by Sacred Retreats the following process occurs:
• Payment will be assessed less any cancellation costs
• Refunds will be made within 2 weeks of written confirmation by Sacred Retreats

Damaged or Missing Property

Guests are responsible for all breakages, damages and losses incurred during their stay. Sacred Retreats reserves the right to charge the guest a reasonable cost for repair or replacement of that property, and in that regard the guest acknowledges that the charge may be debited from the credit card facility used for payment of the booking.  If no credit card was supplied, payment will need to be made by cash at the time of departure. Please notify us immediately of any damage or breakages.

Cancellation of Booking

Sacred Retreats reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel any booking.
